esthertranle.com/wordpress is where I write opinion pieces about relevant topics, ranging from U.S.-China international relations to the most popular movies, while testing current and future Web technologies. I believe that content can be more personalized, evolving with the reader’s insight into a topic. As the reader feels more connected to the content, he or she will be more eager to read and explore thus increasing not only readership but actually the value of the content itself. In other words, sharing and gaining knowledge from the reader is the foundation for creating “Living Web Stories.” Since my return from Shanghai, I have decided to focus on writing about China’s challenges and opportunities that I have experienced and/or observed during my semester abroad.

My name is Esther Tran-Le, I am a NYU Arts and Science College student class of 2013, majoring in Politics and East Asian Studies. Besides being passionate about Web content publishing, social blogs and photography, I am also a semantic technology apprentice and an aspiring polyglot. I am bilingual in English and French, fluent in Spanish and learning Mandarin.
